German lender Deutsche Postbank has selected NCR Corporation’s NCR intelligent deposit ATMs and NCR SelfServ 85 consulting kiosks to improve service offered to retail banking clients.
The technology vendor said that its software and hardware solutions to be deployed by the lender will enable customers to make appointments and calculate loans on the kiosks.
Their intuitive touch screens will help customers calculate loan rates directly on site and make appointments with their bank managers.
The NCR ATMs have been designed to facilitate direct cash deposits to both current as well as savings accounts. The SelfServ ATMs are protected from malware and fraud attacks by NCR security software.
In order to enhance customer experience at its branches, the bank will incorporate over 500 NCR solutions such as NCR SelfServ 32 and NCR SelfServ 34 ATMs, as well as NCR SelfServ 85 kiosks and NCR account service terminals.
Deutsche Postbank COO for self-service and retail banking Kai Schlueter said: "The new generation of NCR solutions significantly improve our service provision as it gives customers more flexibility and the freedom to choose which transactions they want to conduct themselves and which they prefer direct assistance with."
