German banking giant Deutsche Bank has signed a multi-year, multi-million euro IT outsourcing deal with Indian software firm Infosys.

Under the deal terms, Infosys will provide various technology-based services to the bank including consulting, technology, outsourcing, application maintenance services, package implementation, as well as testing services.

Besides, Infosys will serve as a strategic partner under the German lender’s supplier partnership program, which was introduced last June to concentrate the most strategic vendors based on business impact across all categories of the bank.

Commenting on the alliance, Deutsche Bank global chief information officer Kim Hammonds said: "Deutsche Bank is committed to applying innovative technology to enhance its efficiency and service to clients. Working with Infosys will help the bank to achieve these goals."
