Credit Union Central of Manitoba (CUCM), the trade association and service provider for the province’s 34 autonomous credit unions, has selected Everlink Payment Services to deliver enhanced card issuance solutions to eight Manitoba credit unions.

Everlink said that its Instant Card Issuance (ICI) solution features a choice of high-definition in-branch financial card printers that can instantly produce a fully functional and personalized debit card with customizable images and graphics within minutes of a member/customer signing up at the branch.

The ICI platform also supports the immediate issuance of new debit cards for new members/customers, or the immediate replacement of damaged, lost or stolen debit cards for existing members/customers, at the branch level.

Everlink added that its Central Card Issuance (CCI) solution will the credit unions to reliably produce contactless and EMV Chip debit cards from a secure central facility and offer distribution options to send the cards directly to the member/customer or to the branch.

Everlink president & CEO Mark Ripplinger said: "Our team is thrilled with the decision made by CUCM to partner with Everlink to bring Interac Flash technology to small and mid-sized credit unions in Manitoba.

"In conjunction with our current client base, this partnership further solidifies our technology, solutions and client-centric approach as the standard for Manitoba Credit Unions, and the preferred choice for Canadian credit unions as a whole," Ripplinger added.
