The move by the bank is part of its plan to bring banking closer to Kenyan people.

Aurionpro South Asia banking president Kashmira Bhayani said, "We are proud of our association with the Co-operative Bank of Kenya and are committed to delivering a state-of-the-art technology platform that will provide their customers with convenient access to services through multiple channels, significantly enhancing their banking experience and providing a clear competitive advantage."

The iCashPro Internet Banking suite is user-friendly and offers banking services such as electronic payments, fund transfers, online statements and reporting capabilities.

Co-operative Bank of Kenya electronic banking chief manager Sheila Okiro said they expect to see increased competition in all market segments but, with the help of Aurionpro, they look forward to growing their market share.

"The new services we will deliver with iCashPro will continue to advance our vision of financially empowering Kenyans by supporting the co-operative movement," Okiro added.
