BNP Paribas’ (BNPP)
personal finance unit has underspent on 15% of its budgeted travel
expenses since it implemented BT’s video conferencing
service.
BNPP has been using 35
video conferencing rooms at bank locations in Germany, Spain,
France, Italy, Portugal, Brazil and Mexico since teaming up with BT
at the end of 2009.
According to the lender,
BT’s solution has helped reduce travel costs, speed up exchanges
during merger-acquisition periods and has boosted
productivity.
Serge Le Boles, head of
operational efficiency within the Operations department of BNPP
Personal Finance, said:
“For this video
conferencing project, we relied on BT’s expertise to rapidly meet
our ambitious targets in terms of operational cost minimisation and
work time optimisation.
Olivier Campenon, CEO of
BT France, added:

US Tariffs are shifting - will you react or anticipate?
Don’t let policy changes catch you off guard. Stay proactive with real-time data and expert analysis.
By GlobalData“As early as the
selection stage, BT stood out because we offered a video
conferencing solution which includes the set up and management of
facilities, network and ‘concierge services’. Our partnerships as
well as BT’s global footprint (more than 170 countries) turned out
to be key advantages.”
