BBVA Compass, a US banking franchise, has updated its mobile banking apps to offer new Mobile Deposit service and an upgraded payment section on iPhone and Android devices.
The new Mobile Deposit service will be available for small business and new consumer accounts, while the updated payment section provides customers with access to Bill Payments, Picture Bill Pay and Pay People personal payments. The upgraded section also provides new credit card payments functionality.

The updated apps also offer customers with configurable alerts on transfers, low balances, insufficient funds and more through e-mail.
BBVA Compass self-service channels director Alex Carriles said more and more customers are relying on mobile apps to run businesses and conduct transactions when away from home, office or a bank branch.
"Offering one of our most popular features — Mobile Deposit — to more customers, in particular small business owners, helps us put the financial tools they need at their fingertips," Carriles added.
