Barclays has collaborated with the UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) to launch Angel Hubs that will offer funding and mentoring access to scale-ups across the UK.
The hub will also offer entrepreneurs access to physical space in which they can develop their business ideas.
The first Angel hub will pilot in the Birmingham Eagle Lab incubator of Barclays next month.
UK Business Angels Association CEO Jenny Tooth added: "We are delighted to be launching the first of our regional Angel Hubs at Barclays’ new Eagle Lab in Birmingham.
"This will offer a new focal point to build and connect the angel community, offering opportunities for both existing and would-be angels to drop in and meet fellow investors and develop new syndicates and to meet and potentially invest in the innovative entrepreneurs and "makers" at the Eagle Lab.
