BankIslami Pakistan Limited (BIPL) is set to install 25 Diebold 429 ATMs, as part of its strategy to provide improved services to customers.
Diebold distributor TouchPoint will deploy the new ATMs, which continuously monitor the power required to complete transactions and automatically alternate between three possible power sources including solar panel, alternating current (AC) grid and internal battery.
Equipped with an intelligent-powered management system to address unreliable power availability and enhance ATM uptime, Diebold 429 is the first energy-efficient ATM that operates on 70W of power.
Diebold 429 ATM also maximises its uptime, decrease energy consumption and lowers its total cost of ownership.
BankIslami Pakistan CEO, Hasan Bilgrami, said, "As a forward-thinking institution, we are focused on both delivering technologically advanced services to our customers and introducing more green technology to our infrastructure."
TouchPoint CEO, Tabish Sabah, commented, "With their unique power management system, Diebold’s 429 ATMs will enable BankIslami to deliver consistent self-service access to its customers."
