With the new core banking system, Bank of Beirut UK is now positioned to provide a complete range of retail, commercial, and deposit products.

The platform also supports enhanced trade finance services for businesses engaged in cross-border activity.

Bank of Beirut UK CEO Sophoklis Argyrou said: “Migrating from a legacy system to Temenos’ modern core banking and payments platform allows us to scale our trade finance business and strengthen our corporate and retail banking proposition. We can now offer a broader portfolio of products and deliver superior customer experiences with greater speed and efficiency.”

This system upgrade brings Bank of Beirut UK’s operations in line with those of its parent institution, Bank of Beirut in Lebanon.
