Bank of Baroda is set to increase its footprint across India by opening 400 new branches by next fiscal year.
With the addition of the new branches, the bank’s total number of branches across the country will rise to 5,400.
The South Zone including Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will get an additional 65 branches, with 200 ATMs added in Karnataka which will increase the total number of ATMs in the state to 365.
At the same time, the lender is launching a new digital banking model for its customers, which is an advanced model of existing e-lobbies with touchscreen and user interface.
The new service will enable fully automated banking experience without human intervention, and will be available at select locations across India.
