Azerbaijani state-owned bank Azer Turk Bank (ATB) has purchased TransLink.iQ solution from Lithuania–based firm Ashburn International to manage and monitor EFTPOS networks.
Ashburn also provided ATB payment terminals manufactured by France-based payment software provider Ingenico.
The TransLink.iQ solution is used to ensure secure transaction routing and remote EFTPOS terminal management.
It accepts payment by credit cards of both local and international payment systems.
TransLink.iQ automatically downloads and exchanges security keys system to simplify the process of installing point-of-sale (POS) terminals at banks.
TransLink.iQ also provides a multi-vendor system which has the ability to connect EFTPOS terminals of different manufacturers.

“We are pleased to cooperate with the bank, which for the first time in the country provided its customers with the terminals of Ingenico, the world leader in the field of fast payments.”
Ashburn supplies the POS terminals and the new Ingenico devices to the banks, which are already connected to TransLink.iQ Manager, a multifunctional module for remote terminal management.
ATB plastic card department head Namid Abdulov said: “Over the past five years, the volume of non-cash transactions with payment cards in Azerbaijan has increased by five times, and the number of cards reached 7.5 million.
“Our bank develops cashless payments in the country. We are interested in automating daily transaction processing processes.”
