Indian private sector lender Axis Bank has launched Forex prepaid card in collaboration with Diners Club International, a division of Discover Financial Services and part of the Discover Global Network.

The newly launched card, which will run on the Discover Global Network, will offer cardholders global acceptance.

Discover Global Network includes over 35 million business locations and more than one million ATM and cash access locations across 185 nations.

The card will provide a suite of services and benefits to travelers, which will include access to over 600 Diners Club airport lounges internationally.

Axis Bank in a statement said that the card will come at no additional fee, and will be available at the same price of bank’s existing Forex Cards.

Axis Bank president and head for treasury, corporate & transaction banking Sidharth Rath said: "The addition of new travel corridors through the Discover Global Network and Diners Club International, especially in the United States and North Asia, will greatly complement our existing network and provide convenience to travelers through wider acceptance."
