Alkami Technology, a US-based provider of digital sales and service platforms for financial institutions, has launched the Digital Banking Conversion Toolkit.
The new toolkit is designed to support bank and credit union leadership at every stage of their digital banking conversion process.
It breaks down the conversion process into five key stages: evaluation and research, requirements gathering, technical refinement, final vendor selection, and implementation and launch.
Backed by research in collaboration with Emerald Research Group, the solution aims to help financial institutions transition to new digital banking platforms.
It offers insights and best practices gathered from financial leaders who have recently navigated or considered the switch to a different digital banking system.
Additionally, the tool offers guidance from initial internal assessments to achieving institutional readiness for implementation.

By GlobalDataThe Digital Banking Conversion Toolkit, not exclusive to Alkami’s offerings, can be used by any financial institution for streamlining their digital banking transformation.
Alkami CEO Alex Shootman said: “This toolkit is built for all financial institutions—not just those that partner with Alkami.
“Whether an institution, big or small, has limited resources or a large-scale team, the Digital Banking Conversion Toolkit offers a proven foundation informed by best practices and research-backed insights.
“Our goal is to equip banks and credit unions to lead and navigate their digital transformation with confidence and clarity.”
In addition to the Digital Banking Conversion Toolkit, Alkami used the market research for a Digital Banking Conversion Readiness Assessment tool.
The tool enables financial institutions to evaluate their current digital banking setup and identify necessary steps for a successful conversion.
Upon completion, institutions receive guidance on accessing relevant resources for their conversion journey, said the digital banking solutions provider.
In March this year, Alkami partnered with Greenlight Financial Technology, a fintech company specialising in family finance.
This partnership grants Alkami’s clients, including banks and credit unions, access to Greenlight’s debit card and finance mobile app for children and teenagers.
