Oman-based alizz islamic bank has launched a new mobile banking application to offer enhanced banking services for its customers.

Available on iOS and android devices, the new app will provide customers with access to bank account and other online banking services including the ability to view balances and review their transaction history on their credit cards, finance and deposits.

Additionally, customers will be able to use the app to transfer funds between user’s accounts, other alizz islamic bank accounts, accounts at user’s other bank accounts locally and internationally. It also features an ATM, branch locater and a quick dial service.

alizz Islamic bank CEO, Saif al Yarubi, said they are the first full-fledged Islamic bank to offer mobile banking application.

"We know our customers already access our digital channels. By launching the mobile banking app we continue to expand our offerings to our customers and are responding to their needs. Ultimately, we are listening to our customers’ needs through their channel of choice," al Yarubi added.

The new app joins alizz islamic bank’s other digital channels such as corporate website, online banking, SMS text, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
