The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 14.87% in December 2021 when compared with November 2021.
Out of the banking and payments industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 25.78% share in December 2021, recording an increase of 1.93% over the last three-month average share.

By GlobalData1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 61.83% in December 2021, registering an 8.92% decline over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 15.49% share, a decrease of 35.29% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.13%, registering a 40.6% decline from November 2021.
4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 9.01%, down 40.19% over the previous month.
Top five banking and payments companies in Poland’s IT recruitment activity in December 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 14.52% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland’s banking and payments industry during December 2021 over November 2021.
ING Group posted 173 IT jobs in December 2021 and registered a rise of 183.61% over the previous month, followed by Banco Santander with 137 jobs and a 60.29% drop. SIX Group with 90 IT jobs and KBC Group with 64 jobs, recorded a 9.09% decline and a 156% flat growth, respectively, while UBS Group recorded a decline of 28.95% with 54 job postings during December 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in December 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 75.35%, down by 20.39% from November 2021. Entry Level positions with a 13.66% share, registered a decline of 32.17% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 10.28% share, down 30.48% over November 2021, while Senior postings accounted for 0.7%, recording a month-on-month decline of 28.57%.
