The value marked an increase of 121.8% over the previous month of $1.33bn and a rise of 227.3% when compared with the last 12-month average of $901.44m.
The US held an 85.26% share of the global financial services industry venture financing deal value that totalled $3.46bn in February 2021.
In terms of venture financing deal activity, the US recorded 38 deals during February 2021, marking a decrease of 5.00% over the previous month and a rise of 11.76% over the 12-month average.
