The value marked an increase of 124.8% over the previous month of $644.98m and a rise of 177.03% when compared with the last 12-month average of $523.41m.
Asia-Pacific held a 27.26% share of the global financial services industry venture financing deal value that totalled $5.32bn in August 2021. With a 9.97% share and deals worth $530.48m, India was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s venture financing deal value across financial services industry.
In terms of venture financing deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 30 deals during August 2021, marking an increase of 42.86% over the previous month and a rise of 20.00% over the 12-month average. India recorded ten deals during the month.
