The value marked a decrease of 47.9% over the previous month of $2.09bn and a rise of 41.7% when compared with the last 12-month average of $769.25m.
Europe held a 26.65% share of the global financial services industry venture financing deal value that totalled $4.09bn in July 2021. With a 10.47% share and deals worth $428.4m, the UK was the top country in Europe’s venture financing deal value across financial services industry.
In terms of venture financing deal activity, Europe recorded 32 deals during July 2021, marking an increase of 3.23% over the previous month and a rise of 14.29% over the 12-month average. The UK recorded 14 deals during the month.
