South-Africa based First National Bank
(FNB) has rolled out an account switching promotion, with the offer
of two months free banking to new customers.

James Fowle, Pricing Executive at FNB,
said: “There are two fundamental reasons why many people are
reluctant to switch banks globally. One is the high cost and the
burden associated with switching banks.

“Our latest offer of two months free
banking is a mechanism to facilitate the move by the customer
between banks. By offering two months free banking, we’re
alleviating the cost burden involved when customers switch
banks.”

The offer applies to FNB’s Silver, Gold,
and Platinum current accounts with the campaign running until the
end of the year.

To qualify for the fees incentive,
customers require to pay their salary into the FNB account and use
the bank’s debit order switch service.
