Bank of America (BofA) is set to open branches in Minnesota’s Twin Cities under a new financial center format in the second quarter.
The bank will first incorporate the format in its new location in the heart of Minneapolis, which will reportedly be the lender’s first branch in the state.
Larry Kloth, Minnesota Market President, said, "We’re going to have a bigger presence. We are going from an ATM presence to a location presence with fuller services to offer. It will bring out the full organization to our current clients."
The lender did not divulge details on precise locations, office sizes or staffing levels.
However, it confirmed that the branches will feature advanced ATMs and private conference rooms to enable customers meet with personal bankers, small-business bankers, mortgage loan officers and financial advisers.
The new format will be implemented for the first time next month in Denver.
